Kaethe Hostetter

Kaethe Hostetter (she/her) has a long experience of both individual and group class teaching for people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels. Her performance practice ranges from circus to experimental to country to classical. With active projects in each genre, 2026 brought two new albums, one for solo violin and electronics under her artist name K8A, out now on Domino Sound, and another with her country duo The BInoculars, on Jalopy Records. Kaethe believes that music is a path to empowerment, expression, and an overall worthwile and rewarding endeavor. Creativity at every step is part of her creed, and she makes sure that her students can feel playful and creative and experience the sense of improvisatory wonder at even very early lessons.
